Greetings,
Some of you have asked about the Weekend Schedule of the Senior Boys trying to see how it works witn your family schedules on the weekends.
Attached is this years schedule showing rehearsals and all weekend obligations. There is no plan for it to change very much at all. Nothing will be added, but one or two Sundays may move over to the girls.
The singing schedule is based on an alternation with the girls’ choir that is determined by the GCS Schedule and on when the High Holy Days – Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur.
Some years it means the boys sing one or two more Sundays other years it is the girls. I haven’t had time yet to determine next year’s alternation, but it is time for it to flip towards the girls after several years of the boys taking those extra couple of weekends.
I should have that done in the next two weeks.
I hope this helps and that you will find in favor our your chorister auditioning to be a senior. They have the potential for a very strong musical team and I’m very excited about working with them.
