Greetings and Happy near end of Summer!
Just priming the pump so to speak but here are a few details and bits of info as we look to start a great new season of choral offerings at Grace Church.

Welcome again to Suzanne Schwing and Biraj Barkakaty who join us as the alto section this season!

and welcome again to Eileen who adds a new role as contractor for the new season.

Check out the website, there is a great amount of information there, including the up to date music list.

We will continue the wonderful full warm up in the music room this season, the new organ scholar will end the 9 a.m. service so I can be with you at 10:00 to prepare for the 11:00 a.m. service.

The 2014-2015 Schedule: for the old timers, don’t forget that the wednesday rehearsal time has changed.
The Fall Music List
Fall Rehearsal Plan
and the new sign out/absence policy.

Right now I’m on vacation and will be back in the office on 2 September. I didn’t get the Mathias scanned prior to leaving town, but if you need a copy to look at prior to the first Sunday, let me know early that week and I’ll get it scanned and can email it to you in the middle of that week.

Should we have a little fall mixer/drink/social after rehearsal on Wednesday 17 September? I’d be very happy to invite you all upstairs to my apartment if you would enjoy it and have time.

Be safe and enjoy the rest of the summer. In the name of vacation, if you don’t mind, unless it is a matter of urgency, let’s keep administrative type emails to a minimum until September. Please forgive me for asking, but I’m working on learning how to “vacate” so to speak. 🙂

I’m very excited about the new season and look forward to seeing and hearing you soon.

With all my love, Patrick
