Dear Families of Senior ( and Almost Senior) Choristers,
The Choir has offered three wonderful Choir trips to date — to Amsterdam, to Bristol, and most recently to Italy in June 2010. The next trip will likely either be to Paris/Rouen and its environs, or to Prague/Salzburg. The tour operator who arranged the recent Italy trip feels strongly that the weather would not be favorable during Spring Break for either location. The weakness of the French trip is an enormous air show that will be taking place in and around Paris which will make accommodations difficult to realize in the city itself. In Salzburg we would be invited to offer a Mozart Mass with orchestra as one of our venues, perhaps even in the Cathedral.
For planning purposes, it is time to see if there is enough possible interest in a Choir trip in June 2012. If not, then the Choir will work towards a June 2013 trip instead. We realize it is likely too soon for families to commit, but it would be helpful to see what everyone is thinking. If you can, please answer the following questions by email to Laura Holt and Mary Burnham by Tuesday May 11.

Spring Break 2012: India
June 2012: Japan and Spain
Spring Break 2013: China (This trip might be moved to the High School. It is unclear how that might affect the other exchange dates.)
