Today the facade pipes were placed into the north case. It is made up of pipes from the Swell Divisions Gamba 16′ and First Principal 8′:
On Monday 12 November Phase V beings when more of the winding and action portions of the organ will be arriving and installed. Here are some photographs of the start of that process under the choir floor between the cases.
The final photo is of the frame that will go into the old front organ chamber. It will hold the biggest pedal pipes and on top will go the Solo Division with it’s beautiful orchestral string stops, orchestral oboe and the big Tuba and Trumpet that will fanfare on special days.
