Today was our first day without concerts.
What did we do? We got up early and left our Hotel at 7:15 a.m. to take the train to the Hunting Lodge/Palace of the Sun King – Versailles.
It was a beautiful day and we had an awe filled experience in this magnificent place.
Some of us then made a tour of Montmartre, the highest hill in Paris and visited Sacré Coeur Basilica and the artist square.
Late in the afternoon we visited the Louvre Museum and saw the famous statue of Venus di Milo, works by Michelangelo and Leonardo di Vinci’s Mona Lisa.
Everyone has now a quiet evening and an early night to bed.
A wonderful day, off the tour bus and in the fresh air.
