Today 23 June we had breakfast in the hotel, packed up and loaded the bus for Rouen. We arrived to fresh clean almost chilly air and walked to the great Cathedral of Notre Dame and had a wonderful warm up rehearsal.

At 11:00 a.m. we began singing for almost an hour in the beautiful space and had great fun playing with our sound in the beautiful acoustics.

Following this very moving concert we walked to the spot where Joan of Arc was martyred and saw the exterior of the modern church built on that site.

Lunch was enjoyed by all and we boarded the bus for the Gardens and House of Claude Monet in Giverny. It was a beautiful day and following a nice time in this very romantic place we boarded the bus for Paris…..it must be Tuesday.

We checked into our hotel and enjoyed some free time.
A very fine day full of good company, beautiful surroundings and moving music.
