Sarah Palmer is currently pursuing a M.M. in Organ Performance at the Curtis Institute of Music, where she studies with Alan Morrison. She recently graduated from St. Olaf College, where she studied with Catherine Rodland. She also studied piano at the Manhattan School of Music. She has been the recipient of several scholarships and awards, including the AGO/Quimby North Central Regional Competition for Young Organists and the 2021 Ruth and Paul Manz Scholarship. She has made many transcriptions for the organ, mostly of orchestral and concert band music. She is currently the organ scholar at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Philadelphia and until recently was an assistant organist at the Wanamaker Organ at Macy’s.
