Today is the last day of the 2012 Summer Choir Tour. This morning the choir sang at the 10:00 a.m. Mass in the Salzburg Dom with the Dom Choir and Orchestra.

Together we offered Mozart’s playful “Sparrow” Mass in C, K. 220. It was such a wonderful and joyful morning with perfect weather and everyone bubbling with enjoyment working together to offer the Cathedral congregation this beautiful music. We made many new friends and adopted new family today! It has been a precious gift.

The Choir also offered alone motets by Beethoven, Palestrina and Stanford. The sound taken up into the great dome of the church was very moving.

After the service we made photographs at the great fountain in the square of the Dom, had a relaxed lunch and now for some play time before dinner at the hotel, packing and early in the morning off to the airport for the flight home.

We thank everyone who has supported the fund raising that made this wonderful tour possible and for all your love and prayers.
