If Music be the food of love….sing on!
Today we are in Vienna, city of musicians. We say the houses where lived Mozart and Beethoven and at noon we sang a concert in St. Stephen’s Cathedral. The concert was well attended and as the choir sang, the audience continued to grow. It was a beautiful and moving experience for everyone.
Following the concert we had a community lunch in the upper room of a lovely neighborhood restaurant near the Cathedral and then we were off to the wonderful Prater Park. Our visit began with a ride on the great wheel, and the choristers and adults worked their way through many of the rides of the park. Fun was had by all!
Tomorrow we tour the Imperial Riding School and then after lunch head to Melk Abbey and then, Salzburg.
